Meet the Team
Criminal Justice & Communication Major
Nasier Ford
As a student-athlete all of my life and 4 years with PLU. I have always sought a healthy mental health process for my teammates. One of my ways of doing so is through the religion of Christianity. Therefore I always shared similar wisdom to close ones relating to James 1:5 in the bible. Which states, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Look for a positive coping mechanism and it shall be with you.

La'akea Ane
A student-athlete pursuing a criminal justice and communications major. Played 5 years of Football here at PLU. "Mental health is something that was never talked about until I got to college and has been more aware to me when I experienced the life of playing sports and college studies. People should be more aware of the seriousness of mental health as it is on a spectrum and can vary from each life." - Ane c/o 2024
